Oh my life...

You could say that my blog name is TOTALLY true right now. There is for sure

As much as I sometimes wish I had more of them... dull can be better than tons of
Don't you think? I just want my life to be exciting in another way! Like going on a

often. And taking a random spur of the moment

Now that is my kind of exciting! Or maybe just a world where everybody doesn't have to be afraid to
Anyways! My whole point here is just me wanting something I can't have. Something easier. I am working hard to

who I am. It can be hard sometimes... but we gotta push through. Quitting is not the answer. Don't give up. This life is the only one you have so why not live it to the fullest?

around you. Who is there? More people than you think. They are all rooting for you to accomplish all that you can, and they will be there supporting you til the end. I have learned this very important lesson. When all I wanted to do was give up, my eyes were opened to who is there. To who truely cares! I challenge all of you who may be reading this to do the same. Take a good look around you. Who's beside you through thick and thin? I hope that you will see me as one of those people. I may have my ups and downs. My difficult times where I need all the help I can get. But I also love helping others. I am here for you, as long as you can say the same for me.

That is all for now. I hope you feel more inspired to be your best self. You're loved!
Sincerely,
Amber

Camping Memories

After day camping this past Sunday, it made me think of all my camping memories as a child. Camping was one of the funnest things to do during the summer. I love the outdoors and mountains. I hope reading about these memories will just make you laugh and not make you think I'm a weirdo! =)

Growing up I absolutely loved barbies. So of course I just had to take some along when going camping! My cousins and I could play with them for hours on end, pushing our imaginations to the max. We would make houses in the trees and adventures in the streams. Of course something had to break every time. That was heartbreaking. Especially when a head popped off. It was bad enough when my favorite barbie's thumb broke off but a head?! Crisis! But don't you worry, mom and aunts were there to save the day and fix them.

One not-so-happy memory is of one camping trip where I got hurt pretty bad. I was riding bikes around with a cousin. We were having fun. Going by one campsite we got chased by a dog. That was scary and got our hearts pumping! What was really fun was going over little bumps really fast. That is, until the bike decided to kick me off. Then my day turned out very sad. My cousin rode off to get an adult to help me because I scraped up my knee really bad and couldn't walk on it. She was taking a really long time. Eventually a man from another campsite heard my cries and carried me all the way back to my camp! It was very kind of him. To this day, I don't remember what in the world my cousin was doing, but she sure wasn't getting me help. When I got up the next morning I was walking a bit better and to our surprise the man who carried me had stopped by to see if I was doing okay before leaving. There really are some good people on this earth.

Just a couple more. . .

The smell of campfires.
Waking up early for hot chocolate.Playing in the streams.
Seeing all the stars and the milky-way galaxy.Roasting Marshmallows. And spending time with the family.

It is only the beginning

Hello! This is my first time experiencing blogging. I figure it'll be kind of like posting on facebook except much longer with a lot more detail. As I sit here trying to think of something on my mind to talk about, I've decided that it is only the beginning and all I really need to do this time is tell a bit about myself.

Obviously my name is Amber. I come from a family of 6. Two sisters and one brother, along with my parents. But maybe you can say 7 because my dog, Busby, is just as much part of the family as I am! I live in Utah, as I have most of my life except for 2 years spent in New Mexico. I have been in Sandy for about 9 years now-the longest I've ever been in one house! I just graduated from Hillcrest High School, class of 2011! About 2 weeks ago I got a job at Inkley's. I love it!! I am currently working in the lab-printing pictures, processing film, all that fun stuff. This coming week I am getting trained up front so I can work both, wherever I'm needed. Hence my title being a "floater". I don't mind it though because when I applied I couldn't decide between the two anyways! I love photography. Along with art, reading, and being outdoors!

Honestly I didn't expect I'd be able to write as much as I have already. Maybe it is a little pointless because only friends will be looking at this and they probably know all this about me! Oh well, what's done is done right?

I guess that is it for now. All that's left from here is the hope that I will be able to get on here often and share my thoughts. But just be warned. If you do decide to follow along and read about my life as it happens, you just might laugh, or you just might cry. You might get angry, or you just might get thoroughly confused. I wouldn't be surprised and you shouldn't be either. Because I just warned you.
